This weekend I actually did do some things fun, even though I didn't get to do everything I wanted. On Friday night I was really tired but I still watched the Royals game on and off, and that's all I did on Friday. Saturday we went to a watch a Hindi movie called Haider, and even though it was long, it was still somewhat okay-it wasn't too bad but not too good. On Sunday I didn't really watch the Chiefs game but I did watch the Royals game and I'm really glad they won!!!!
Even though Kansas City is a small city compared to others, it's still not that bad. I love the fact that it's a safe and close place to live in, so everything is close by and like one big community. As much as I don't like school, I'm still glad we have a great school and district with lots of school spirit. The only thing worse than going to school is going to school in a bad school and district, and I'm glad our school and district is not that way. I also like that even though Kansas City is small compared to others, it's still a city that has everything all the other big cities do. Kansas City still has the best stores, very good sports teams(especially this year!!), as well as entertainment for all ages. My favorite place in the city would probably have to be all the plazas and parks and shopping areas, not because I really like to shop, but because those are the places it truly feels like a city and looks like a fun place to be. I also really like the Country Club Plaza and it's a good place to go once in a while. My favorite team would have to be KU in basketball and the Royals. I love KU and I like basketball, so it works out perfectly well. I also really like baseball, not because of how well the Royals are doing this year, Overall Kansas isn't too bad and I'm glad the royals are advancing this year.
